CNFC Overseas Fisheries Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) is a joint stock company mainly engaged in distant water fishery and international collaborative economic & trade development and held by China National Agricultural Development Group Co., Ltd. The Company was listed on the A-share market of Shenzhen Stock Exchange (stock code: 000798) in February 1998.
By focusing on production and operation of distant water fishery, the Company was one of the top-tier entities involving in development of Pacific tuna and South America’s squid resources and carries out fishing operations in WCPO, Southeast Pacific Ocean and Southwest Atlantic Ocean with 50 offshore vessels. Products of the Company include squid from Argentina and Peru, saury, tuna and other marine and processed products. In addition to 12 branches inside and outside China, the Company operates 5 representative offices and companies of which the Company is the controlling shareholder in North America, South America and South Pacific regions. The Company is also involved in aquatic product trade, ship repair, and import and export of vessel and equipment and fishing supplies, among other activities.
